Sept 04:
A new contract worth approximately GBP 35 million has been awarded to Aker Kvaerner by TOTAL E&P UK plc. The Aberdeen-based Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner Limited will be responsible for supporting operations and maintenance at TOTAL's St Fergus gas terminal and on the Elgin/Franklin offshore assets in the North Sea. Having created the powerful "Ram-Pack", by consolidating its unique relationships with its partners OEMs Liebherr and Weir and sub-contractor Cape, Ram was invited by Aker Kvaerner to contribute, as its "Key Partner", to its now successful TOTAL tender submission.
